The Cadets of the Ole War Skule was first organized in 1955 by former Louisiana State University cadets who had attended its downtown campus to support the rich military heritage and traditions of LSU. Their annual meetings on Homecoming Day afforded them the opportunity to encourage and support participation in the LSU Corps of Cadets.
